Our Pet Policy

Home / Our Pet Policy

At Crown Key Realty, Inc., we understand that many tenants have pets and want to ensure that they can bring their furry friends with them when renting a property. However, we also have a responsibility to our clients to ensure that their properties are well-maintained and free from damage caused by pets. To achieve this balance, we have developed a comprehensive pet policy that includes the following guidelines:

Pet deposits

We require all tenants with pets to pay a non-refundable pet deposit at the time of lease signing. This deposit covers any potential damages caused by the pet and ensures that the property is thoroughly cleaned and deodorized after the tenant moves out.

Breed restrictions

We have a list of restricted dog breeds that are not allowed on the property. These breeds have been identified as potentially dangerous and may cause liability issues for our clients.

Maximum weight limit

We have a maximum weight limit of 50 pounds for all dogs allowed on the property. This ensures that larger dogs do not cause damage to the property or pose a threat to other tenants.

Vaccinations and licensing

We require all pets to be up-to-date on their vaccinations and licensed with the local authorities.

Noise and behavior

We expect all pets to be well-behaved and not cause excessive noise or disturbance to other tenants. We reserve the right to evict any tenant whose pet causes a disturbance or is a danger to other tenants.

Inspection and cleaning

We conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure that the pet is not causing damage or creating unsanitary conditions. We also require tenants to thoroughly clean and vacuum the property upon move-out.

By implementing this comprehensive pet policy, we are able to ensure that our clients’ properties are well-maintained and free from damage caused by pets while also allowing responsible pet owners to enjoy their rental property.
